We were asked by the Sentencing Academy to build a resource that would bring together information, research findings, and statistics relating to sentencing.

We were conscious of the need to provide the content in different formats based on the types of user who would be looking at the resources. We leant into the academic nature of a lot of the research papers to provide an interface that would feel familiar to those undertaking in academic research. At the same time, we focused on making the data snapshots easy to browse and more visual.

We worked closely with the SA team to find the sweet spot between interactive graphics that looked the part while still being easy to add and edit via the CMS.

The Hub was launched with great excitement at an event held in the Houses of Parliament.
